Turning back to Houston, the article also specifically cites Sugar Land as Houston’s most up-and-coming suburb. Fast-growing and family-friendly, the suburb that lies 20 miles outside of Houston boasts solid schools, a strong local economy and a wealthy community

According to the American City Business Journal, Houston was the fastest growing US city of the 20th century. The 2000 Census indicated that Houston had experienced the 6th largest ten-year population growth of a US. city, and experts predict that it will increase by at least 3 million more people by 2025.

The recent population influx can be attributed to Houston’s rich cultural life, a highly profitable economy, and a large job market. The energy industry directly contributes to this gain.

Also worthy of note is that the cost of living in Houston is among the lowest of all urban settings in the USA. . Houston has the lowest cost of living and least expensive housing among twenty-nine metropolitan areas with populations of more than 1.7 million in the U.S.

Sugar Land defines itself by its master-planned communities, each of which mixes homes, retail and recreation. Houses are relatively affordabl. You can get a reasonably-prized four-bedroom, two-bath home in the attractive Commonwealth development.

For me, the main motivation in moving back to Hosuton is economics and jobs.
Back with a vengenace after the 1980s the oil bust, Houston has reclaimed its title as energy capital of the U.S. and added aerospace, technology and medical companies to the mix, and generating more than 100,000 jobs in 2007.

Not only does Houston lead the nation in job growth, but real estate in Houston costs about half as much as other same size metro areas and overall cost-of-living is well below the national average.
The city’s improvements have attracted couples, families as well as Fortune 500 companies.

One thing I absolutely love about Houston is its greenery and how green the city is. I guess the carefully planned master-communities play a big role in this.

I think that the sub-tropical climate has nearly everything to do with it being green nearly all year round. The master planned communities really do not have anything to do with the area staying green.

Houston is the best city as of now no doubt we can say that. The geographical climate makes Houston looks pretty green through out the year . The surveys of 2000 says that Houston is the leading in iterms of development when compared to that of other cities in the US.
