The location is really convenient Old Braeswood is bounded by South Main, North Braeswood, Kirby Drive, and Holcombe. The Texas Medical Center, Rice University, the Village are all within a one-mile radius.

For families with kids, many of the best public and private schools in Houston are within an easy drive of Old Braeswood. Children here are zoned to Roberts Elementary School, Pershing Middle School, and Lamar High School.
