This is way out of my budget, but why would anyone want to invest in real estate so far away from anything and govern by Islamic laws?

I saw a documentary on Dubai and the islands formed into a map of the world, what a project! Each house I think sold for $3,000,000 US that is just insane.

Dubai would not be as big as it now is if it weren't for oil dollars. There is a lot of investment in the region and everyone wants a part of it.

It seems Dubai is not yet saturated yet....but for quick return anyone can invest to buy a small apartment and sell it after some remodeling or something. Some people are making real money there...

Dubai is only for multimillioneres, as the Oil wealth is giving the Shek's more wealth than any other person in other parts of the world. Investing there will reep many fruits in a very less time.
