Best time to sell

When is it the best time to sell the house. I am not talking about market condtions but the time of the year.

Generally speaking, market activity is highest starting March and continuing to Memorial Day, The second highest is Labor Day to the week before Thanksgiving.

Dead times include late summer and after thanksgiving. So avoid these times when trying to sell your house.

I would have thought that the time before Christmas would be the least favorable. That is good info to digest, thank you.

According to me, purchase when you get Budgets and No one is buying. Sell When u have no money left and Everyboddy else is Buying.

if you want to sell your house and planing to purchase new house for stay, So, just compair the rate for both house


Means the selling price of your current house & buying price of your new house. If there will be not much more difference than that time will be your best time to sell your house..

i think before Christmas is the best time to sell the house.However in summer there is also a scope to sell it but definitely not in winter.
