Curb Appeal
I have come across this term when talking with some real estate agents. What exactly is curb appeal and so what?

It is just a fancy industry jargon for the first impression. As in all things, first impression is very important, especially so when you are selling your house.

Make sure you get rid of any external clutter. Trim the lawn and make sure the lawn is in good shape. Some plants would be useful too.

Some industry insiders recommend that you bake cookies when a prospective buyer pays a visit. Not sure whether this works but no harm trying.

I think baking cookies will not work - buyers would be stupid not to see through this ploy of making them feel at home and a sense of well being

Baking cookies? If I could assure better deals by baking cookies then I would have grandma very busy, but that's a fun idea.
